Game Meets Game is reimagining student development for under-resourced students; the contemporary Hidden Figures.
If you seek early career candidates who are future-ready; we welcome your engagement.

Game Meets Game

Simply put, getting a good or better job is the #1 reason why Americans value higher education and if they don’t believe it’s delivering on this they will seek other alternatives.

Our approach affirms the value of education, while directing the student towards developing a digital capital needed to meet and position themselves effectively; particularly important for under-resourced students who live in the digital divide.

Game Meets Game is here to support you through these demanding times. We believe you are here because you understand the intersection between The Academy and Industry is transforming.

Do you offer an Interest Assessment? Wonderful.

Maybe you provide opportunity for students to take Personality Test. Excellent!

How about this?

Might you provide an aptitude assessment that works for the student: In 90-minutes “game play” – the student then has their own playbook for owning their career, has a personal dashboard of job openings with listing of contacts across the country, by state.

MOST importantly – the student then has a digital document which gives THEM the language to effectively curate their digital footprint (on Handshake and LinkedIn) and articulate their competitiveness in language of employers and hiring managers.

YouScience Discovery brain games match what the student is good at (aptitudes) and what they like to do (interests) with in-demand careers where the student will have a competitive advantage.

  • Whatever the student excels at, YouScience helps the student uncover the kind of problems their brain is wired to solve.
  • Then, it connects that potential with the programs and careers that need the STUDENT

Career centers spend 80 to 85 percent of their budget on personnel costs.  That must shift.

Guidance Counselor Office visits are challenged to see through the headwinds of workforce shifts into the future.  This requires new models of staffing and support.
